First, here are some reminders.
Remember to tell your body it is safe. Some anxiety may come from the bottom up. Relax your body and relax your mind
Remember to tell your mind that nothing matters. Because it doesn't. It is all a game. It is all for fun. If you mess up one day, it doesn't matter because nothing changes.
We have evidence (don't we?) that time, as we understand, doesn't exist. While we see things linearly--our life passing day by day, year by year--in reality it all happens at once. Everything has already happened. Everything has yet to come. Because it all is now.
So when you think back on your life, don't be sad about the bad times, the damage done, or the opportunities lost. Because those times have happened, and are happening now, and will happen again. Think instead of the good times. And think how lucky you are that you are living those times right now. There is a part of you, back in a time that still exists, living that moment again and again.
How lucky am I to be alive right now. Living that beautiful moment in the past. Not savoring it, because you don't know then what you know now. And be happy for you, for the good things you have had, whether you have them now or not.
Even if that moment is over, it is yours. It is your jewel. To have and to hold forever. Til death do you part?
Even if jewel feels ugly in the moment, it will likely turn out fine. Think of how many times you've been anxious and uncomfortable in the past, and how most of those turned into a pearl that was...fine.
So your good your bad are more like a neutral. So act that way. Not everything is important. Not everything matters. Often all that matters is you show up. There is no need to stress. Each moment is what it already is.
How lucky are you to be alive right now--watching each moment unfold (moments which are already unfolded, and which are still germinating as seeds). How lucky are you--inhabiting this consciousness in what seems like a linear fashion, observing one thing at a time--when really you are always there. Time isn't real. You are always there at once, living from the beginning to the end of time. You have always been, and you always will be. Don't fear the darkness at the end....it is just another light. You will repeat again.
So cherish and polish each gemstone that crosses your path. Let your crown shine in beauty, grace, kindness, and wisdom.
