July 14 Daily Entry -- To the Greater Cosmos

I call out to you. I deserve to be seen and heard. I am a small part of you, but a part nonetheless. And you are the larger part of me.

I ask you for help, healing, guidance. I do not ask god, because god is of my own making. God is a mask we put on you. And I do not come to you as I once came to god--groveling, terrified, whining, supplicating.

No, I am confident in my right to be heard, because I am you and you are me.

Perhaps if you can't hear me, I will speak through the trees. And I will let the water and the stone reply.
