October 27 Daily Entry -- Outside Too

The change in the thought pattern to change your perceptions to change your reality, it works outside of you, too. Last week I began to value myself. I declared that I am a luxury that not all will be lucky enough to experience.

This week I can see that others value you as well. Those in seeming positions of power over me have expressed their appreciations, and they have backed it up with actions. Those who would benefit from my presence, they are grateful, too. And full of praise. And I must accept that it is true. I see reflected in them the reality I created by valuing myself.

I am surprised, though, that as I have these revelations and as I write them, I realize they are the same as everyone else's epiphanies. I use the same popular words and metaphors, perhaps because they work well. They have settled into my mind and my ear embraces them because they are familiar.

I will continue to write it down, continue to observe, in the hopes that one day I will find new words for the same truth.
